Mark Nemish

Mark Nemish spent most of his life in Manitoba, Canada. In 1993, he came to US to continue his graduate program at the University of North Florida. There he had an opportunity to be a strength coach for the athletic department of the school. After Mark completed his Masters Degree, he continued his career as a strength coach, but now at different schools.

During the next few years, he found himself working at three different universities such as University of Richmond, Vanderbilt, and Middle Tennesssee State University. A few years later, Nashville Predators welcomed Mark as their strength and conditioning director, a position that would last for six years. People started to see his patience and dedications to the athletes, especially in hockey. Their performances were improved dramatically by coach Mark. During his professional life there were nearly 20 top players not only hockey, but also in basketball, soccer and American football, and track and field.

Today, Nemish is the Washington Capitals strength coach and a director of Dynamic Sports Performance, a training facility in Ashburn, Virginia. In this team he had played an important role since the beginning, testing each athlete individually as he observes their performances on a regular basis. To add to his duties the personalized training programs that the coach designs help keep the athletes on track, whether it is in-season or off-season. Since 2007, Mark has helped the hockey players overcoming any injuries quickly and efficiently. He has provided guidance for smart and effective training to any athlete who has had the honor to be coached by him.
